Aquaponics Temporary Swirl Filter One Week On

Aquaponics Temporary Swirl Filter One Week On

It has been a bit over a week since I put the swirl filter into the Aquaponics system. As you can see from the photo above the water quality has greatly improved.

Even the fish are looking a lot happier and feeding better.

In these photos of the Aquaponics Temporary Swirl Filter I set up you can see the water is much clear from a week ago. (Click Here to Last Weeks Post). There is a heap stuff sitting in the bottom and the filter pads I put under the out let have needed a clean every day.

This Photo below is of the out let where the water is very much clearer.

New Aquaponics Swirl Filter

Aquaponics Temporary Swirl FilterThis weekend I hope to get the new more permanent Aquaponics Swirl Filter set-up. The Uniseals arrived today so not I get on making the Aquaponics Swirl Filter I started the other week.

Will  also post some new photos once I have the new Swirl filter built along with some video of it running into the Aquaponics System. Aquaponics Temporary Swirl Filter

With the new swirl filter being white it will be much easier to see how much muck is trapped in the bottom. With the current tank being a dark colour it’s very hard.

Having the extra fish has I think pushed the system to it’s upper limit, so any help I can give it can not hurt.

This has been a long time in coming and am glad I have finally go ten around to building it. If you are looking for unseals check Rob Bobs web site as he has just started selling them. Rob is also selling a few other Aquaponics related parts also check out Rob’s blog plus his YouTube Channel, you won’t be disappointed.

I would love to hear any thoughts you may have below in the comments.

Till next time, Happy Gardening!
